Threaded
Standard threaded adapters have large, easy to grip tabs, making installation and removal easy for all hands, and in all weather conditions - i.e. with gloves on!
Slimline adapters have reduced sized tabs for bullpups and where clearance between the barrel and tank is at a premium.
There are 2 adapters in each package, 1 standard & 1 slimline.
Variable
Variable adapters for barrels that are not threaded. The variable adapter is pushed onto the end of the barrel & tightened in place with the thumb screws.
The bore & outer barrel MUST be concentric! Otherwise damage or injury could occur.
Select the maximum outer diameter of the barrel from the options. The adapters can be adjusted from its maximum diameter down to the minimum diameter by changing the internal inserts.
The barrel MUST make contact at FOUR points, as close as possible to the top & bottom of the barrel. If the adapter is making contact at the middle of the barrel mis-alignment can occur.
